One of the more frequently asked questions (FAQ) we hear is about which login to use for which computer-based service. With several different usernames and passwords that a student could use on campus, it is not hard to get them mixed up.
For example, if you’re using your own laptop computer to connect to Blackboard wirelessly on the college’s wireless network, you’ll have to use two separate usernames and passwords. The table below helps straighten it out.
Here’s a quick overview of which login goes with which service:
| Login Name: | Get Your Password From: | What It Logs You Into: |
|---|---|---|
| DYC network | Academic Computing Services or Connections |
|
| Blackboard | Distance Education |
|
| STACI | Academic Computing Services or Connections |
|
| Financial Aid Login | Financial Aid Counselor or your Financial Aid Award Letter | |
| online registration PIN | your academic advisor | |
| Student ID Barcode | Montante Family Library (Get your DYC photo ID from Connections.) | |
| Distance Education student web site | your CSC 110 instructor and/or your Education Project instructor |
|
| WordPress | your education project instructor or doctoral program advisor |
