Academic Computing Services

Most of your computer and technology problems can be solved with the help of one of several different offices, so the college uses a single email address to take all requests, and then those requests are forwarded to the appropriate person. Please send all requests for help to labhelp@dyc.edu.

The staff of Academic Computing Services is here to help, seven* days/week.When we are at our desks, we can provide chat-based support. Our username on Google talk is DYCacademiccomputing. You can use web-based chat at meebo.com if you don’t have access to an installed chat program. Our full-time staff consists of:

	Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., if you need help, call Thomas at extension 7867. You can also video-chat or text-chat with Thomas during his office hours by logging in with your Gmail account and connecting to dyc.woods@gmail.com. 	Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., you can call Jeannette at extension 7868.
	Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m to 11:00 p.m., Matt is available to help at extension 7895.
	Saturdays and Sundays, we have a rotating coverage by our part-time staff, so call exension 7867, which anyone on duty will be able to answer.

*During the summer, the office is closed on Saturdays. Please check this page for our current hours.We also have several Help Desk positions filled by students with work study funds.
